1989 Donruss Rack Pack Case

I know what you’re thinking … Junk Wax!

Well, sort of …

I mean, sure, 1989 Donruss is about as Junk Wax as things get, and there were millions and billions and trillions of them produced.

Still and all, this is 31-year-old issue with rookie cards of big names like Ken Griffey (Jr.), Randy Johnson, Craig Biggion … Sherman Corbett.

And, with 72 “bags,” each of which contains 45 cards (and 9 puzzle pieces!), you’re looking at 3240 cards, or about five of each of the 660 cards in the set (and 648 puzzle pieces!).

That’s a lot of gradeable cardboard … rookie cardboard of some Hall of Famers. And it would be great fun to rip this stuff, too, don’t you think?

And besides … it’s not wax at all.
